The area of the Neubrandenburg engine shed site north of the railway line has unfortunately only been perceived by the city as a large wasteland for around 30 years and has a rather devaluing effect.
and acts as a strong break between the old grown city and the new residential neighbourhoods to the north.
The planned revitalisation of these high-calibre architectural monuments and their surroundings offers the opportunity to establish a new attractive link between these districts of the city and at the same time to establish a new small district with public appeal, forward-looking content and secure use. The task and the solution approach are understood in the following terms:
